Always Late – a Halloween story

It was long past midnight. The moon was full and shined bright, as expected on a night like this.

All of the sudden, I was awaken by the misterious sounds coming from outside my house.

I could not understand what was going on?

When I took a look at the clock, I realized. “Oh shoot, I am late again. I am always late! Damn it!”

So I hurried to brush the spiderwebs off my clothes and grabbed my hat, my wand and my boots, while thinking that, for a witch the curse “Damn it!” is far too… human…hmmm…

Nevermind… I will work on that later…because NOW, I am late!

“I am late for Halloween! I am always late for Halloween!”

While shutting the door behind me, I saw some of my shadow friends.

“Wait for me !” I shouted and disappeared into the darkness running after them…
